▌ HPV Vaccine



Related disease reports show that the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer rank the third among women aged 15-44 in China, and there is an obvious trend of younger cancer in recent years. And 99.7 percent of cervical cancers are associated with high-risk HPV (human papillomavirus) infections. So the HPV vaccine is very important to prevent cervical cancer.


In addition to getting the HPV vaccine, women are also advised to have regular cervical cancer screenings and do early screening.



▌ Flu Vaccine


The flu season lasts from October to March. It takes two to four weeks for the vaccine to develop antibodies, so it is recommended to get the flu vaccine in September, one month before the flu season, to better protect against influenza.


Recommended vaccination groups:

For children 6 months to 18 years of age, adults 50 years and older, pregnant women, people of any age with chronic diseases, healthcare workers, caregivers of infants younger than 6 months of age or people in contact with their families, and people at high risk for influenza complications.



▌ The herpes zoster vaccine


The herpes zoster virus (VZV) can be reactivated as immune system problems increase with age, especially when the body is tired, cold, fever, stress, trauma, or other diseases that can reduce immune function, causing shingles.



Recommended vaccination groups:
Shingles vaccine is suitable for people aged 50 years and above. It is recommended to receive shingles vaccine regardless of whether they have had shingles before. Getting shingles vaccine can prevent recurrence of the disease.



▌ A 23-valent pneumonia vaccine


23-valent pneumonia vaccine is "23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine", mainly to prevent pneumonia caused by pneumococcus. Pneumococcal infection is one of the most important causes of death worldwide. It can also cause pneumonia, bronchitis, meningitis, otitis media, septicemia and other diseases, and even leave serious sequelae such as deafness, paralysis and mental retardation in children after infection.



▌ A tetanus vaccine


Tetanus is a specific infection caused by tetanus bacilli invading human body through skin or mucous wound, with high morbidity and mortality every year. It is a preventable disease, but the attack treatment without specific drugs, so prevention is more important than treatment. Tetanus vaccination is the most scientific, effective, safe and economical way to prevent tetanus.
