He is currently employed in the Department of Urology at Peking University People's Hospital. He was mentored by Professor Wang Xiaofeng, a renowned expert in urology, who served as a standing committee member of the Urology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and former chairman of the Chinese Andrology Association. Dr. Zhang has participated in and undertaken seven national, provincial, and institutional research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Health Industry Fund, the Ministry of Education Doctoral Fund, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. He has also published over 80 papers in SCI and core journals, and has contributed to the writing and translation of four professional books, including "Clinical Urology", "Smith's Urology", "Kocher's Surgery (18th edition)", and "Surgery (4th edition)".
