Dr. Liu is an associate chief physician in the Department of Gastroenterology and the deputy director of the Endoscopy Center at Peking University First Hospital. He graduated from the Medical Department of Peking University in 1996 with a master's degree in clinical medicine and obtained a doctoral degree in clinical medicine in 2002. His main focus is on gastrointestinal motility, digestive endoscopy examination, treatment, and research. In 2003, he went to the United States as a visiting scholar for a one-year research program at the Gastroenterology Department of the University of Wisconsin.
